Adhesive for applications on paper surfaces and PP film for tyre labels target customer and market demands
With two new developments for special purposes, problem solver VPF GmbH & Co. KG of Sprockhövel once again targets the specific requirements of markets and customers. The established manufacturer of adhesives and coatings has now added two newly developed adhesive materials to its already extensive product range.
The two new products are a hot-melt adhesive that’s simple to remove and a white, glossy PP film that has been successfully tested on tyres in combination with the tried and trusted tyre adhesive HM371F.
The HM310 hot-melt adhesive was specially developed for easy detachment from paper surfaces, especially newspapers, magazines and books.
Labels with this adhesive can be effortlessly peeled off paper and cardboard surfaces and packaging without leaving any residue. Print and colour surfaces remain undamaged, as does any information beneath the label. The adhesive is suitable for paper and film labels (also inkjet materials).
The second new development is a valuable addition to the tyre label adhesive segment. The adhesive HM371F, an established product which has for years been used on labels in the tyre industry, is now also available with a top-coated (TC), white, glossy PP film just 60 μ thick and a migration barrier on the back to prevent unwanted swelling.
The hotmelt adhesive is also available in higher grammages – on request also on rolls with adhesive-free edge strips.
